Kalahandi: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted gold ornaments and cash from a house in the Koksara block of Kalahandi district.
According to reports, the six masked robbers barged into the house of one Surath Sarabu late last night by breaking the door and attacking Surath and his wife with sharp-edged before fleeing along with the valuables.
However, the amount of cash and gold ornaments robbed is yet to be known.
Later, the couple was rescued from a pool of blood and was rushed to Koksara hospital for medical aid and later shifted to Bhawanipatna hospital.
On getting information, police reached the spot and initiated an investigation in this regard.
