Kendrapara: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted valuables worth over lakhs of rupees from a house at Nasipur village under Mulabasanta Panchayat of Pattamundai block in Kendrapara district.
As per reports, the incident took place around 11 am while Kulmani’s wife, Rangalata, and her three-year-old granddaughter were alone at the house. Meanwhile, some miscreants asked to open the door on the pretext of Covid-19 survey. When she opened the door the robbers allegedly barged into the house and looted ornaments and other valuables after threatening them.
On being informed, Pattamundai IIC Rakesh Kumar Tripathi along with his team reached the spot and initiated an investigation in this regard.
