Miscreants go on stealing spree in Jharsuguda’s Brajrajnagar

Brajarajnagar: Unidentified miscreants went on a stealing spree last night and made away with several items from three places under Gandhi Chowk police outpost limits in Jharsuguda’s Brajrajnagar.

According to reports, the miscreant stole two sacks of rice by breaking open the lock of Junnani Munda School godown which was stocked for the midday meal.

Besides, the miscreants also lifted a motorcycle belonging to a person identified as Nepaleshwar Kanta’s, who had parked his bike bearing registration no.OD23T8998 near Gandhi Chowk, and had gone to Chandinimal GP to see Mahashivratri Yatra.  Later, he lodged a complaint in this regard.

This apart, the miscreants also entered a garment shop named Amit Dresses at Gandhi Chowk by breaking the ceiling asbestos and made away with garments worth Rs 35,000 and some cash.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by the shop owner Hari Shah Prakash, Gandhi Chowk Outpost IIC  Chudamani Mahananda launched a probe by checking the CCTVs installed in the locality.
