Cuttack: The Special POCSO Court in Cuttack today sentenced a man to 10 years of Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) for raping a minor girl in 2016.
According to the case details, the convict had outraged the modesty of a minor girl at Barang in Cuttack district.
The Special POCSO Court’s judge convicted, Gopal Das, and sentenced him to 10 years of RI with a fine of Rs 10,000. The court has also directed the to provide Rs 2 Lakh to the victim.
