Bhubaneswar: In order to deal with cases related to missing and abduction of minor children, the Commissionerate Police has launched a special cell in the Capital city-Minor Kidnapping and Missing Cell.
The cell aims at creating awareness at educational institutions after Covid pandemic. The Crime Branch of Odisha Police has also launched special drive to rescue missing children.
The cell that is operating on trial basis will more actively function once the pandemic situation is over with lifting of lockdown restrictions, DCP Umashankar Dash said.
