Patna: The body of a minor girl was found hanging from a tree at Mundasahi area under Turumunga police limits in Keonjhar district today.
The deceased has been identified as Bilasini Munda of Purunia village.
According to sources, the matter came to light after some locals spotted the body of the girl hanging from the tree and alerted the same to the police.
While the exact reason behind the death of the girl is yet to be ascertained, police have registered a case of unnatural death and launched a probe into the incident.
Sources said, the girl was staying with her uncle and aunt for the past few years.
