Malkangiri: A mild earthquake struck Malkangiri district on Wednesday morning. The tremors, which occurred at 7:28 am, were felt in several areas and lasted between five to seven seconds. Fortunately, no damage has been reported.
The brief tremors caused alarm among the residents, prompting some to evacuate their homes. The earthquake’s path is known to have extended through Chhattisgarh, Bhadrachalam in Telangana, and Malkangiri in Odisha.
