Mercury Dips In Most Parts Of Odisha; 17 Places Record Below 15 Degree C

Bhubaneswar: Minimum temperatures dipped in most parts of State with 17 places recording below 15 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours.

Sonepur recorded a low of 8.8 degrees Celsius followed by Phulbani (9.0 degree C) and Angul (10.0 degree C). Daringibadi recorded the minimum temperature of 10.5 degree C, Bhawanipatna 11.5 degree C, Keonjhar 12.2 degree C, Baripada 12.5 degree C, Talcher 12.3 degree C and Koraput 12.6.

Similarly, Sundargarh stood at 13.0 degree C, Boudh 14.0 degree C, Balangir 14.0 degree C, Cuttack 14.2 degree C, Titilagarh 14.5 degree C, Chandbali 14.6 degree C and Sambalpur recorded 14.6 degree C yesterday night.

The minimum temperature in Bhubaneswar was recorded at 15.0 degree C.

The cold weather will continue across the State in next 4-5 days, the regional centre said.
