Mayurbhanj: The body of an unidentified person was found on the roadside of NH-49 near Kasia under Karanjia police station limits in Mayurbhanj district.
Reportedly, the matter came to fore after some passersby spotted the lifeless person and alerted the police about the same.
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. An investigation has been initiated in this regard.
According to the preliminary investigation, it has revealed that the man was hit by an unidentified vehicle and died on the spot due to the impact of the accident.
