Mayurbhanj: Police have unearthed the mysterious murder plot of a man, whose body was fished out from well in Mayurbhanj district.
The deceased was identified as Jayapal Hembhra of Haughutu Sahi in Majhigaon of Jharkhand.
As per police investigation, police recovered the body on January 15 from an abandoned well on Charua road in Jashipur village in Mayurbhanj. Though initially, police did not acquire any information regarding the crime, a “dupatta”, (veil) found near the semi-decomposed body, led the cops to the prime accused.
Reportedly, following thorough investigation police found out that the dupatta belonged to the sister of brothers duo, Sarat Hembhra and Bholanath Hembhra. The duo was immediately detained by the cops and after questioned the accused reportedly confessed to their crimes.
The accused duo also re-created the crime scene.
Reportedly, the duo killed Jayapal in Jharkhand and carried the body to Jashipur village on a cycle before dumping it in a well.
It is being stated that the crime took place over past enmity, sources said.
