Maoists torch vehicles used for road construction work in Sukma


Sukma: Maoists torched at least three vehicles and some machines used in road construction works at Erabora area under Chhattisgarh’s Sukma bordering Odisha.

Opposing the road construction work, a group of armed ultras stormed the site camp of a contractor and set ablaze as many as three vehicles including a road roller, a tractor and a mixture machine.

Soon after setting the vehicles on fire and triggering panic among the locals, the Ultras escaped into the forest.

On being informed about the incident, Chhattisgarh police rushed to the spot and launched a probe into the matter.
