Maoists Torch Vehicles At Road Construction Site On Malkangiri Border

Malkangiri: A group of Maoists set on fire six vehicles and machines engaged in road construction work in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh on the Malkangiri border on Wednesday.

As per reports, the incident took place on Tuesday night at Alabada village where a road is being constructed.

As per preliminary information, a group of ultras reached the village and set ablaze trucks, tippers, tractors, and water tankers parked at the temporary site on fire.

Soon after being alerted about the incident, security personnel rushed to the spot and launched a search operation in the area, sources added.
