Keonjhar: Mystery shrouded the death of a man whose body was recovered from a forest at Godipokhari in Keonjhar district today.
The deceased has been identified as Rishikant Mahant of Godipokhari village under Turumunga police station limits.
Reportedly, the matter came to fore after some locals spotted the body inside the forest and immediately alerted the police about the same.
On receiving information, police reached the spot and seized the body for post mortem. However, the actual reason behind the death of the man is yet to be ascertained. An investigation has been initiated into the matter, police said.
