Man’s body found at in-law’s house in Nayagarh, kin cry foul


Nayagarh: The body of a man was found at his in-law’s village under Fategarh police limit in Nayagarh district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Das of Kahdu village under Fategarh police limit.

According to sources, Ganesh was staying with his wife and five-year-old girl in Bhubaneswar. Due to some conflicts between the duo, Ganesh’s wife had left his house and was staying with her parents in Badabhui village.

In order to take his wife back to the house, Ganesh had been to his in-law’s house 15 days ago. Angered over the incident, an argument broke out between Ganesh and his in-laws. However, Ganesh leaving his bike returned to his house.

On Saturday, his in laws asked him to take back his motorcycle. On reaching there, his in-laws thrashed him mercilessly injuring him critically, alleged his family members.

He was admitted to Bhapur community health centre where he doctors declared him brought dead.

While Ganesh’s family members have alleged murder by his in-laws, the deceased’s mother-in-law has said that he died due to some ailments.
