Manish Sisodia writes to Centre after Delhi Lt Governor stalls AAP govt’s Unlock 3

New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on opening of hotels and weekly markets in Delhi.

The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal has cancelled Arvind Kejriwal government’s decision to open hotels, weekly markets in Delhi following Unlock 3.

Sisodia’s letter said that it is not understandable what the Centre wishes to achieve by keeping hotels and weekly markets shut in Delhi when the same principle is not followed with other states.

Sisodia said that five lakh families are sitting at home due to the closure of weekly markets.

He accused the Centre of adopting a dual policy as hotels and weekly markets are open in the whole country and even in states such as Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka which have reported highest number of coronavirus cases.
