Boudh: In yet another hit-and-run case, a man was killed after being hit by a car on NH-57 under Boudh police limits in the district on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Dinger Meher.
As per reports, the incident took place while Meher was standing outside his house when a speeding vehicle hit him. Reportedly, the vehicle causing the mishap sped away killing him on the spot.
On receiving information, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway in this regard, sources said.
