Bhubaneswar: A man allegedly jumped into the Kuakhai river in the state capital, Bhubaneswar on Friday night. The man has been identified as Bapi Patnaik (40) of Laxmi Sagar area in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, the youth was in an inebriated condition and he jumped into the river Kuakhai yesterday night. Alert locals immediately alerted the fire services department about the same.
On getting information, the firefighters from Bhubaneswar rushed to the spot and rescued the man alive from the River. The youth then was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
