Kandhamal: A man was arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl in Brahmanigaon forest under Kandhamal district. The accused has been identified as Binay Chhatia.
According to reports, the incident occurred on June 12 and the matter came to light after the victim’s parents lodged a complaint with Brahmanigaon police in this connection on June 14.
A case was registered and the accused, who was absconding after the incident, was nabbed from Sulumaha, said sources.
