Ganjam: In a shocking incident, a youth was hacked to death by his elder brother over a family feud at Mangalpur village in Ganjam’s Aska district on Friday.
According to sources, a rift prevailed between the families of two brothers over some family dispute. The duo had a verbal spat this morning over some trivial issue.
Things took an ugly turn after the elder one attacked the younger brother with an axe.
The accused hacked him to death on the spot and fled from the house. The police seized a blood-stained axe from the spot and launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
The body was seized and sent for autopsy and further probe is underway.
