Kendrapara: Crocodile fear has again gripped residents of Jagannathpur village under Pattamundai block in Kendrapara district after a man reportedly went missing while taking bath in the Brahmani river on Monday.
The missing man has been identified as a resident of the same village.
According to sources, the man kept his belongings on the river embankment and went into the water for bathing this morning.
When he did not return late in the afternoon, his family members went on searching for him. Later, they found Chandan’s belonging on the river embankment.
On receiving information, a firefighting team along with ODRAF officials reached the spot and launched a search operation.
Search operations are underway till the last report came in.
