Malkangiri: A man allegedly committed suicide after selling his infant son at Saptadhara village under Mathli police station limits in Malkangiri district. The deceased has been identified as Somnath Khila.
As per reports, Somnath had a family of six-member- four boys, one girl, and a wife. As the financial condition of the family was poor, it was getting difficult for Somnath to manage their livelihood.
In order to manage their livelihood, Somnath allegedly sold his 4-month-old baby. However, unable to bear the situation, he took an extreme step to end his life.
