Bhubaneswar: A 15-member delegation of the BJP is scheduled to visit family members of Odisha school teacher Mamita Meher at Kalahandi today.
The team, led by the party’s State president Sameer Mohanty, reached Kantabanji, to meet family members of Mamita Meher in Jharani village.
The BJP’s Sambalpur unit observed a 12-hour bandh in the district today demanding the removal of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged close proximity with Gobinda Sahu, the prime accused in the Kalahandi school teacher Mamita Meher murder case. The BJP also sought a CBI probe into the matter.
