Mamita Murder Case: BJP central fact-finding team to visit Odisha today

Bhubaneswar: A three-member BJP central fact-finding team is scheduled to visit Odisha today regarding the sensational Mamita Meher Murder Case.

In view of severity and sensitiveness of the case, a three-member BJP central team of BJP Mahila Morcha chief Vanathi Srinivasan, MP Sunita Duggal and MLA Rupa Mitra Chaudhury will visit Odisha, conduct a review and submit a report to party president JP Nadda.

On the other hand, BJP workers will gherao 625 police stations across the state demanding justice for the deceased teacher.

Besides, All India Congress Committee general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala has demanded the dismissal of Minister of State for home, Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged involvement in the Mamita Meher murder case in Odisha.

A fact finding team of the Congress including Surjewala and the party’s Odisha in-charge, A. Chella Kumar, met the family members of Mamita on Thursday at Jharni village in Tureikela block of Bolangir district.
