The Indian men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty advanced to the semifinals of the Malaysia Super 1000 badminton tournament on Friday.
In the first game, the seventh-seeded Indian duo established an early lead in a closely contested 28-minute match.
The Malaysian pair made a strong comeback in the second game, maintaining a lead for most of the time until the interval.
However, the Indian pair managed to level the score at 11-11 and then took the lead after the break.
