Major Overhead Equipment Failure Reported By ECoR, Several Trains Rescheduled

Bhubaneswar: A major overhead equipment failure was reported by East Coast Railway today. The OHE failure was reported at Gumada Station yard in Rayagada -Vizianagaram Railway Section. This led to train services getting affected in Rayagada-Vizianagaram Railway Section, the ECoR stated.

Three pairs of trains cancelled, and a couple have been diverted. Below are the details:

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS:

A. 18528 Visakhapatnam-Rayagada Express from Visakhapatnam on 05.05.2022.

B. 18527 Rayagada-Visakhapatnam Express from Rayagada on 06.05.2022.

C. 08528/08527 Visakhapatnam-Raipur-Visakhapatnam Express from both the directions on 06.05.2022.

D. 08546/08545 Visakhapatnam-Koraput-Visakhapatnam Express from both the directions on 06.05.2022.

RESCHEDULING OF TRAINS:

18518 Visakhapatnam-Korba Express from Visakhapatnam on 05.05.2022 will be rescheduled to leave from Visakhapatnam by two hours late from its scheduled time.

DIVERSION OF TRAINS:

A. 22973 Gandhidham-Puri Express from Gandhidham on 04.05.2022 will run via Titilagarh-Sambalpur-Angul-Khurda Road bypassing Titilagarh-Rayagada-Vizianagaram-Khurda Road route.

B. 18448 Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express from Jagadalpur on 05.05.2022 will run via Koraput-Araku-Kottavalasa-Vizianagaram bypassing Koraput-Rayagada-Vizianagaram Railway Section.
