Maha Vikas Aghadi to focus on farmer, unemployment issues

Mumbai: The Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance has released the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) with key focus on farmers, unemployment and women.

Uddhav Thackeray, the Shiv Sena chief, will take oath as the chief minister of Maharashtra on Thursday evening.

The swearing-in will take place at 6.40 pm at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park. This will bring to an end a month-long impasse in Maharashtra.

Thackeray, 59, is the leader of the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Mumbai Police have issued a detailed traffic advisory ahead of the mega event at Shivaji Park.
