Low Pressure Over Northwest BoB, Odisha Likely To Witness Rainfall Till July 27

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, informed that a low-pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood on Thursday.

“Under the influence of yesterday’s cyclonic circulation a Low-Pressure Area has formed today over the North West Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood,” the Bhubaneswar Met Centre tweeted.

Several places in Odisha are likely to witness rainfall activities till July 27.

Widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy falls are likely over East and adjoining Central and Northwest India during July 26-27.

Yellow Warning has been issued for 16 Odisha districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sundergarh, Koraput, Malkangiri, Khordha, Sambalpur, Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara and Deogarh.
