New Delhi: Europe and Asia must work together for a strategic competition with China which will continue for a long time, US President Joe Biden said.
Biden has told this to his European partners and Asian allies recently.
The US President said it will be a tough competition with China and added that they have to push back against the Chinese government’s economic abuses and coercion that challenge the foundations of the international economic system.
He said if we fail to cooperate, then revitalizing democracy will not happen and Chinese monopoly will overtake. The US President urged his European allies that they must collectively demonstrate that democracy can still deliver for people in this changing world.
Biden said through democratic principles we must defend, strengthen and renew to prove that our model isn’t a relic of history. He added that this system is the single best way to revitalise the promise of our future.
