Lockdown violation: 245 cases registered across Odisha in 24-hr


Bhubaneswar: A total of 245 cases were registered for violation of COVID-19 regulation and guidelines across the state in 24 hours.

This was informed through a notification today.

Out of the 245 cases, 230 were for violation of lockdown norms, three for violation of home quarantine and rest 12 for other issues related to COVID19.

Reportedly, in Cuttack and Balasore districts, 28 cases of violation were collectively reported in the last 24 hours.

Of the 28 cases, 13 cases were registered in Cuttack Urban Police District (UPD) for violation of guidelines related to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Besides, 55 bikes were seized while a fine of around Rs 4,35,000 was collected from the violators in the city.

Similarly, 15 cases were reported from Balasore in the last 24 hours.
