Barang: Locals of Hare Krushna slum rescued a spotted deer from the stray dogs at Niladri Vihar in Bhubaneswar.
Reportedly, the deer ventured into Niladri Vihar area from the nearby Bharatpur forest.
Later, locals found the deer while being attacked by the canines. They immediately rescued the animal and informed the police about the same.
On being informed, police along with the forest personnel reached the spot and brought it for a medical checkup. The animal was released to the wild as it found to be healthy.
