Bolangir: Locals of the Pipida village under Puikutla police station limits of Bolangir district have foiled an alleged child sale deal and caught a youth in this connection.
According to sources, the villagers raided the house of one Lalini Tandi while he was reportedly making a deal with four youths. Later, the youths tried to escape from the spot after seeing villagers. However, they manage to nab one of them.
Thereafter, the villagers informed the police and handed over the youth to them. However, the exact motive behind why the four youths had come to the village.
Further investigation is underway in this regard.
