New Delhi: Lava has launched a new affordable smartphone. The latest handset is a good option for users who are looking for a mid-range phone. It gets a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper, a physical rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a rectangular module for dual camera sensors, and a polycarbonate build. Price and Availability

The Lava X2 is priced at Rs 6,599 only for the 2GB/32GB model and can be pre-booked from Amazon. It will be available in Cyan and Blue colour options.

Specifications of Lava X2

Talking about the specification of the latest Lava X2, it sports a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with a waterdrop-style notch on the front camera. It is equipped with an unknown octa-core MediaTek Helio SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The company has not disclosed which Android version the device will run on.

The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery which takes 3.5 hours to fully charge. It is claimed to provide 38 hours of talk time, 480 hours of standby time and 630 minutes of YouTube playback. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro USB for charging and data transfer. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security.

In terms of optics, the Lava X2 sports a dual-camera setup at the back with an 8MP primary sensor. It has a 5MP shooter at the front for selfies and video chats. For safety, the device has a rear fingerprint scanner and Face ID. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C charging port and OTG support.
