Bhubaneswar: The Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in Bhubaneswar on Monday turned down the bail application of Archana Nag who has been arrested for allegedly honeytrapping many high-profile people and extorting money.
Nag was arrested on October 6 on charges of extorting money from several influential persons after honey-trapping them. She had moved the SDJM Court for bail on October 1o.
The Commissionerate Police had arrested Nag following a complaint by a woman at the Khandagiri police station here.
The complainant had alleged that she was trapped by Nag who managed to snap obscene pictures of her with influential persons and later blackmailed them.
