New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will hold talks with US counterpart on India-China faceoff in Ladakh. This will be second such conversation between the two leaders.
The Ladakh situation is likely to be discussed and also, closer Indo-US defence ties. This would include beginning military exercises stopped because of COVID-19.
The 14 Corps Commander Lieutenant General Harinder Singh and his Chinese counterpart Major General Lin Liu will also be holding talks to diffuse border tension.
This is the third round of meetings between the two Generals, the first two happening on June 6 and June 22. The military dialogue between the two Generals is expected to emphasize on disengagement and de-escalation on the border region.
