Koraput: A labourer was electrocuted to death after coming in contact with a live wire at Similiguda area in Koraput district today.
The deceased has been identified as Ravi Majhi (23) of Jadaguda village near Sunabeda area.
Reportedly, the incident took place while Majhi was painting a two-storey building’s roof when he accidentally came in contact with the live wire. Following this, he fell off the roof and succumbed to death on the spot. Later, Electricity officials reached the spot and cut off power supplies.
On intimation, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. An investigation has been initiated into the matter, sources said.
