Koraput: In a major twist to a murder case, a woman confessed to murdering her husband at Masaniguda village under Sombai panchayat in Pottangi block of Koraput district.
The deceased was identified as Sunduru Hantal (42).
Reportedly, Sunduru along with his wife Kuji Hantal of Taupadar village in Kotia panchayat had gone to visit a friend at Masaniguda on Wednesday.
However, the body of Sunduru was recovered in a forest near Masaniguda. Acting on a complaint lodged by family members at Pottangi Police Station, cops registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem. There were signs of injuries on the left side of his head, genitals, and a rope mark on his neck.
Following this, Kuji has confessed to the crime.
