Koraput: In a major haul, 13.57 quintal ganja was seized by a joint team of Machkund & Lamtaput police in Palel village under Machkund police limits.
The seized contraband is estimated to be worth over Rs 1 crore in the upcountry market.
According to sources, Machkund & Lamtaput police seized the contraband consignment following a raid at an under-construction house in Palel village under Machkund PS.
Reportedly, a case was registered against two persons, informed Nandapur SDPO.
Further investigation is on.
