Keonjhar: Intensifying its action against COVID-19 guidelines violators, the Ghasipura municipal corporation has seized a newly-opened saree store for violating Covid-19 guidelines in Keonjhar district.
The officials visited busy market areas and conducted spot inspections to check and ensure that Covid-19 guidelines were followed.
While conducting an inspection, the civic body officials found more than 200 people were assembled at that newly-opened shop, flouting Covid-19 guidelines ahead of the Sabitri puja. Following this, the shop has been sealed.
It is pertinent to be mentioned here that, Odisha government has directed to open essential shops only till 11 am during the second wave caused lockdown period. Moreover, it has been urged that all customers and shopkeepers must wear face masks and maintain social distancing.
