Mumbai: The Katrina Kaif – Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Merry Christmas’ which was slated to release on December 23, will go to the theaters on another date. The maker of the movie has decided to reschedule the release date.
According to sources, the release has been postponed to 2023. But the exact date is yet to be announced.
It was decided as the the psychological thriller would clash at the box office with the Tiger Shroff starrer Ganapath and the Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the flick will be released in an ideal date which would be viable for revenue genration.
Ganapath and Cirkus are releasing on December 23. It will be a massive fight at the box office if the movie hit screen on same date.
