Kashmiri leaders are free to challenge their detention in court: NSA Ajit Doval

New Delhi: NSA Ajit Doval has said that Kashmiri leaders can challenge their detention in court and no one is charged with criminal offence.

Doval said on Saturday that Pakistan is trying to foment trouble in Kashmir by spreading false propaganda. He said at least 230 Pakistani terrorists were spotted in the Valley recently.

He told the media that the government is determined to protect the life of Kashmiris from Pakistani terrorists. Doval said: “Pakistani communication towers located 20 kilometers along the border have been detected”.

Doval further said that out of 199 police station areas in Jammu and Kashmir, only 10 have prohibitory orders in place.
