Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Monday has warned Congress leaders to rein in their MLAs or else he will quit the post.
He told reporters that Congress leaders must control their MLAs and added that if they ‘continue’ with the same thing, he has no alternative than to step down.
“They’re crossing the line…Congress leaders must control their MLAs,” he added. The Congress on Sunday alleged that under the Kumaraswamy regime the state has seen no development.
The Congress MLA ST Somashekhar has reportedly said that the state would have witnessed more development had Siddaramaiah got another term.
The matter has gone from bad to worse when the Congress minister Puttaranga Shetty said that he ‘still’ considered Siddaramaiah as the Chief Minister.
According to reports the bickering within the Congress-JD(S) alliance has come to the fore following allegations of horse-trading by the BJP.
