Nabarangpur: Former JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar, who joined the Congress party recently ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly election, has slammed Odisha’s ruling BJD government saying the State is being ruled by the BJP’s D team.
Addressing the public at Sankalp Samabesh in Nabarangpur, the Congress leader targets Centre and Odisha government and said, “BJD is the D-team of BJP. Here elected representatives don’t run the government. CM Naveen’s friend is ruling the State.”
“I am better than CM Naveen Patnaik, as I can understand a little bit of Odia. He doesn’t even speak Odia properly. So the State needs the oldest party and I request you to support Congress in the upcoming Panchayat elections,” urged Kumar.
Notably, Congress is holding Sankalp Samabesh ahead of the Panchayat elections in the State. Along with Kanhaiya Kumar and Jignesh Mevani and Bihar in charge, Bhakta Das and Koraput MP attended the function today.
