Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Lock Upp’ To Stream Tonight At 10 PM On ALTBalaji, MX Player

Upcoming reality show ‘Lock Upp’ hosted by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and produced by Ekta Kapoor, which had landed in legal trouble over plagiarism allegations, will now stream on ALTBalaji and MX Player as scheduled at 10 PM on Sunday.

As per reports, a Hyderabad court has vacated a stay order and allowed the reality show ‘Lock Upp’ to stream as planned. It may be mentioned here that the fearless reality show’s concept was challenged on allegations of plagiarism and City Civil Court of Hyderabad and the court issued a stay order on its streaming date. However, the court has now vacated the order and allowed the show to stream.

This comes as a big relief for the makers of the show. Now viewers will be able to watch the show tonight.

Hyderabad-based businessman Sanober Baig had filed a legal complaint of plagiarism after he saw the promo of the show and found a resemblance to his story and script of the show called, ‘The Jail’. According to him, he had already shared the concept with Endemol Shine India’s Abhishek Rege. It was written by Shaantanu Ray and Sheershak Anand.

Kangana Ranaut & Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Lock Upp- Badass Jail Atyaachari Khel’ is all set to stream on ALTBalaji and MX Player at 10 PM from February 27 onwards. Ahead of the release, four controversial names have been unveiled as a part of the sixteen celebrity guests set to compete inside host Kangana Ranaut’s jail, including Poonam Pandey, Munawar Faruqui, Nisha Rawal, and Babita Phogat.
