Kalinga Literary Awards 2019: Names of recipients announced


Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Literary Festival has announced the names of veteran writers to be conferred with Kalinga Literary Awards 2019 for brilliant literary works at different levels.

Kalinga Literary Annual Awards have four segments:

  • First is the Kalinga Literary Award,
  • Second is the Kalinga Karubaki Award
  • Third is the Kalinga International Literary Award
  • The fourth one is Kalinga Literary Youth Award

Veteran writers Pavan K. Verma, Rajendra Kishore Panda, Paro Anand to be conferred with  Prestigious Kalinga Literary Awards of 2019. Young and dynamic writer Kedar Mishra to be conferred with  Prestigious Kalinga Literary Youth Award of 2019. This was informed by the Kalinga Literary Festival, Director, Mr. Rashmi Ranjan Parida.

For the last six years, Kalinga Literary Festival has set a national benchmark in literary festivals. The sixth Kalinga Literary Festival is here. More than 250 celebrities from the worlds of literature, cinema, media and politics will assemble in the temple city of Odisha to deliberate on the Central theme of ‘Gandhi’s Idea of India: Truth, Non-Violence, Harmony”, at the Kalinga Literature Festival in Bhubaneswar, from 19th to 21st July  2019 July at KIIT Convention Centre , Bhubaneswar.

Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF) has emerged as one of the leading literary platforms in India, attracting both experienced and young litterateurs. Bigger than ever before, the sixth edition of the festival will bring nationally and internationally acclaimed names on one platform to discuss, debate and explore commonalities in the diverse voices in literature, justice, equality, equity and humanity.
