Kabir Singh creates history, becomes first Indian film to cross 1 million in Australia


Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh that emerged successful at the Indian box office also ruled overseas box-office after scripting history in Australia.

The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed drama won over the Australian Box Office as it created history by becoming the only Indian film in the nation to cross 1 million (Australian Dollar) mark.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also informed the same on his Twitter handle.



With Kabir Singh in the lead, the other top four Bollywood films that tasted success in Australia are Gully Boy, Uri, Bharat and Kalank.

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh is unstoppable at the Indian box office as well as it stands tall at Rs 271. 24 crore at the box-office.

Kabir Singh is an official remake of Vanga’s Telugu-language blockbuster Arjun Reddy, starring Vijay Devarakonda and is jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series.
