‘Jhia Nuhe Tu Coronavirus’: Singer Humane Sagar Apologises


Bhubaneswar: Popular Odia singer and BJD leader Humane Sagar released a video on social media in which he has tendered an apology for the ‘Jhia Nuhe Tu Coronavirus’ song that dragged controversies and criticism.

He also mentioned that he had asked the producers to delete the video from YouTube requesting them that it has tarnished his image soon after fans slammed for the insensitive content.

Despite the fact that the song had garnered massive 3 million views, it was deleted.

Humane Sagar has landed himself in a soup after the release of his latest song ‘Jhia nuhe tu coronavirus’.

Reportedly, musicians of the Odia Entertainment Industry have shown their displeasure over the song. The song describes a girl as coronavirus. The song is penned by Pabitra and the music being composed by Ganesh Prasad.

The reference to women/girls as coronavirus also led to a backlash.
