Jharsuguda Police gets autopsy report of album actress Simran Singh
Sambalpur: Burla police on Sunday handed over the post-mortem report of Sambalpuri album actress Simran Singh, who was found dead on January 3, to Jharsuguda Police.
According to the autopsy report, Simran died of receiving injuries on her head and chest after falling on the rocks, sources in the police informed today. However, the viscera report is yet to be ascertained, a source said.
The 20-year-old album artist was found dead under a bridge near Goira Matha under Mahanadi Bridge on Thursday morning. Meanwhile, Simran’s family member alleged that she was murdered by her husband, Dhrubaraj Suna aka Yug, of Bolangir.
Based on a complaint filed by her family, police arrested Yug after interrogations in this case. Police have booked him under the POCSO Act.
During interrogation by Bolangir police on Friday, Yug had said that they had tied the knot against their parents’ consent last year. However, Yug denied the allegation of his involvement in Simran’s death.
Yug was detained by Belapada police hours after Simran’s last voice message went viral on social media.
In the voice message, Simran was heard crying and claimed that she was going through mental depressed and going away from everyone.
