Jharsuguda: Students of Jharsuguda Engineering School have launched a protest on Tuesday demanding the cancellation of offline exams following the spread of coronavirus in the campus.
The students demanded that the authorities must go in for online examination as 22 persons including 9 students have tested positive for coronavirus. They said the authorities are adamant to carry on the offline exam despite the prevalence of the dreaded disease.
The Principal of Jharsuguda Engineering School said the second and fifth-semester exams are being conducted offline in accordance with the direction of the government. He added that the students should not fear as the report of coronavirus is yet to come.
