The accused identified as Subash Khuntia, a close aide of Rakesh Nath-the prime accused behind the killing was nabbed from Kainbila village at Kamakhyanagar in the district with seizure of a mobile phone from his possession.
Earlier, police had arrested eight persons including the key conspirator Rakesh on April 5. While two of the accused were arrested from West Bengal, six others were nabbed from Talcher in Angul district and Begunia in Khurda district.
During interrogation, it was revealed that Khuntia had informed the contract killers about the whereabouts of Parida.
