New Delhi: The youth who fired at anti-CAA protesters in Jamia was highly radicalized and considered the protests as “anti-national activities”.

The accused on Thursday brandished a country-made pistol fired at a group of anti-CAA protesters injuring Jamia student Shadab Farooq. During the interrogation, it was revealed that he procured the firearm from his hometown in UP’s Jewar.
